🧺 Maintenance tips

Recommended washing

• Ideally, hand wash
• Cold water or 20°C maximum
• Special wool detergent
• Do not rub, press gently
• Do not twist
• Dry flat, in the open air
• Never use a tumble dryer

Machine wash (only if necessary)

• Wool/delicate program
• 20°C maximum
• Very low spin speed (400–600 rpm)
• In a laundry bag

Washing frequency

Alpaca and wool:

• They do not easily retain odors
• They are naturally antibacterial
• They prefer to be aired rather than washed

You can wash your vest after 5 to 10 wears, or even more, except in case of stains or strong odors.
Often, airing it for 24 hours is enough.

Washing an alpaca sweater too often accelerates its aging and alters its softness.
